Now i understand. Some jag off today posted a bunch of new listings for Pat Tillmans rookie card hoping to profit. Now People are oevr bidding on purpose and not paying so the seller wont make any money off of this tragedy.

I don't get it. If someone wants to bid on it and buy it, I don't see what's wrong with trying to sell it! What was the bid start at? If it was a few bucks, then is it really that big of a deal?

No...those are what the bids on some of those are up to. Most are starting off pretty low.

The high bids are someone sabotaging the auction.

I see that. If someone doesn't pay him, he doesn't have to pay the final value fee.

We should all go on there and get the bids over $100000

no but I am sure the high bidders are going to leave him negative feedback! If I were that seller I'd end those auctions right now. It will hurt his business reputation

It's not sick. It's just stupid. In that auction he did say "Coach McGinnis trained Pat Tillman, who walked away from a $3.6 million contract with the Arizona Cardinals. He enlisted in the Army Rangers and was killed recently in Afghanistan. For this reason, half of the money collected in this auction will go to his family."
