Why does everybody think Pittsburgh will take a QB?
I have been thinking this over and wondered why everyone thinks that the Steelers are going to pick a Quarterback. They need a QB, but they need other things too. Bill Cowher is close to lameduck status (they usually renew his contract by now, he has 2 years left.) and he also lost a bunch of defensive players...DBs and an LB or two. Personally I think that Pittsburgh will choose a CB or LB and will pass on the quarterbacks, which means that one or both of the quarterbacks could fall to us (Cleveland just signed Jeff Garcia to a contract and also have Kelly Holcomb). This would be just what Donahoe needs. He could then either take Ben Roethlisberger or trade down and let one of them fall to him, plus get an extra pick. What do you all think?
