PRAGUE (CP) - Team Canada has lost its head coach before playing a single game at the world hockey championships.
Joel Quenneville was hospitalized overnight with extreme exhaustion and will head home once released. The team said Saturday his condition was stable.
``He's just exhausted,'' Jim Nill, Canada's general manager, told reporters at Sazka Arena. ``He came over here and everything just happened at once. It just wore him out. He might have an illness.''
``I'm going to name a new head coach tonight.''
