I agree!, although you 're going to have you're doubters, "oh we should have traded up to get a qb".....i can hear it now!

Once the QB's were gone he should have taken Smith, Udeze or Harris! Instead he reachs for a WR in a deep WR draft. ****** idiot!

I like the pick... The defense did well, the offense didn't. Move Reed back to slot. And we have Evans as our speed receiver

maybe they see something in evans that a lot of us dont...TD does like his major injury-prone players. i agree, think we shuold have either a) traded up for roethlesburger b) traded down to almost anywhere and then get a good value, surely there will be a great reciever avaible in rd 2 or c) stay and take harris, or DT's are getting pretty old

We could have gotten a good 2nd WR in the 2nd round. YOu don't pass on top 10 talent like Udeze or Harris for a WR some had as a 2nd rounder. This is TD's worst pick as Bills GM!

Great pick, gives us back the speed we so needed last year. Price had a much bigger impact leaving then first thought, mark my words.

I think Evans will be Peerless Price :p:

Fairway,

While everyone has the right to their own opinion. Don't you think the Bills brass did what they thought would be best for this team in it's current situation?

boy talk about a clear black and write debate. on one side we've got those that think it's a great pick, and the other side those that think we should traded up (yeah right) or taken smith or udeze and taken one of those always impact player second round receivers

He won't be fast enough to get open with this O-line and a Center that can't shot-gun snap.

Lee "Reach" Evans

I like Lee Evans, but I think we could've traded down and still gotten him.

so we traded price for the 23rd pick in a bad draft, then drafted a guy who we hope will be as good as price with the 13th pick in a great draft...

I can't think of a better immediate need the bills had this off season then WR. They filled that with a FAST down field threat.

Not only will it take some heat off of Moulds but will also keep the DB's in check and not crowd to stop the run. Sorry if you don't agree with them picking Evans but he was the best fit for out biggest need that FA didn't fill.

They are showing some real good highlights on empire this guy is super fast and they say its a rare find to have hands and speed like he does. He catches jump balls over defenders and hes short.

we are stuck with it now. I hope Evans proves me wrong. I think we could have gotten the same type reciever in the 2nd. Plus he is comming off a major knee injury. Yeah...............love those damaged goods

KC has somone similiar I think you all know his name and the impact he gives them. Hall.

Remember him torching our secondary on that pass play? Caught it about 10 yards across the middle at full speed and made us look like statues while he ran for the score.

We needed a WR...theres alot of armchair GM's here that need to get a job in the NFL, then talk.

I think Evans will be better than Price. He is a relentless student of the game. They said you could always find him in the film room and he's definately a team player. Not to mention he's one of the better blocking wr's in the game. I think that had alot to do with us picking him up.

Half of his highlights the ball is underthrown and he has to wait for the ball before TURNING ON THE JETS!

I am liking this pick more and more. Modrak said BEFORE the draft that Evans would have been the first WR taken in half of the drafts in the last decade. His WR's coach at Wisconsin said he was a better WR prospect than Chris Chambers.

A Steve Smith or L Coles type that will scare the hell out of opposing D's. Allows Reed to go back in the slot and Moulds, McGahee and Travis Henry will benefit.

Quit your crying! Great Pick!

Being in Wisconsin I've seen plenty of Evans.

He's not the tallest of WRs but he will get open, he's fast as hell and he can catch anything thrown his way. He went out for the season on double knee surgeory, came back the next season and played even better than before he left. And UofWisconsin has never had a good QB but Evans was still a huge standout.

We got a great player guys.

Scouting Report: Before his torn ACL in 2002, Lee was listed as the #1 receiver for the 2003 NFL Draft over Charles Rogers, Andre Johnson and Roy Williams
