We traded our #1 next season along with two others picks for QB JP Losman. Leaving us obviously with no #1. Did anybody else think that the reason TD so willing dealt the pick was bc he thought he could deal one of his RB's after this season for a possible #1 in the 2005 draft. That was prolly one of my first thoughts after my initial shock and excitement. Just an idea maybe some of you that hated the trade will help put your mind at ease through this.

In theory it does help a bit. But then again the reality is we won't get that high a pick for TH.

I gaurantee it will happen. We will not have 2 RB's next year.

How do you know how high we will get or high the pick will be?

Is it my fault me and TD are on the same wave length?

For any sane fan it should've been the first thought that came to their mind.

No way Henry will be here after next year unless Willis shows he will never be his former self or blows his knee out again this year.

I still think we should've traded him this year while his value is the highest it will ever be, and in a weak RB draft class. Oh well.

I posted the same thing in response to one of the other threads.

Only problem with that is that it leaves us with Joe Burns as our top RB if McGahee doesn't pan out. McGahee is no better than a rookie right now.

So that means we have 3 #1 picks this season.
