With the Patriots' selection of defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, the University of Miami (Fla.) set a league record yesterday with six first-rounders in one draft. But it seems the Miami player New England may have really wanted was the fifth Hurricane taken, guard/tackle Vernon Carey.
Either Mike Tice is lying or BB. Either ways it cost the fins to give up a 4th to move a step up :snicker:
