He's never played more than a 40-game sched against NCAA pylon defensemen & the playoffs in the NCAA are single-elimination tournaments, not 7 game series like in the NHL.

He's been a big fish in a small (NCAA hockey) pond. Once he gets to the NHL with the smaller ice and skilled/stronger defensemen, he'll bottom out.
