The Buffalo Bills may or may not win more games than they did a year ago, but at least their offense should be more fun to watch.
It can't get any worse than last season, when the Bills ranked 30th in the 32-team NFL in yards, tied for 30th in points, 28th in passing, 31st in yards per pass, 32nd in sacks and 31st in passing touchdowns.

Is it any wonder why the Bills placed a heavy emphasis on offense in the draft?

While the Bills insist that using five of their six picks on offensive players wasn't by design, it does reveal their need to shore up that side of the ball.

"Obviously going into the draft, we felt there were some areas on offense that we would like to address," President and General Manager Tom Donahoe said during the Bills' post-draft news conference Sunday. "But you can't go into it saying "OK, we have to do this or we have to do that,' because usually when you do that, you come out disappointed. It may not fall that way, so you go into the draft and you say, "We want to help our football team wherever we can help the team.' In this particular case, (drafting offense over defense) just ended up that way."
