Giants Release Kerry Collins

East Rutherford, N.J. - The inevitable became a reality today when the Giants announced they have released quarterback Kerry Collins.

Kerry was done wrong. I hope this comes back to bite the Giants in the ass. Kerry has turned his career around. I'd love to have the guy be a backup in Buffalo. But i doubt it as he is capable of starting elsewhere. And he;ll prolly get more money as starter

He won't be a backup, IMO.

He suffered the same fate as Drew. No line, and no running game.

I don't see him landing a starting gig anywhere, and I wouldn't even want him as a backup in Buffalo.

The best move he could make would be to re-sign for cheap with the Giants. After all, it was the Giants who gave him the opportunity to salvage his career.

I don't want Kerry Collins as a backup. I don't want any QB controversy. Bring in Kordell if necessary but make it clear that HE IS JUST A BACKUP. Drew starts no matter what unless he's hurt.

Drew had a running game last year... it just wasnt used like it should have been.
