    I thought this was intersting. Guess they don't have too much faith in Travis Brown.

    Steinberg said Lorenzen signed a standard one-year free agent contract with a modest bonus. Steinberg wouldn't elaborate on the bonus.

    Buffalo and Cincinnati were also interested, the agent said, but Lorenzen chose the Giants because he felt there was a better opportunity there.

    Good. Who wants an elephantine QB?
    Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

      I'd be interested in seeing what that guy is like if he can ever lose weight. As someone to have on your roster to send over to NFLE, I think he'd be a solid pickup. He can chuck the ball pretty damned good already. Yes, in his current state, he can't play QB. But losing weight is a lot easier than all of a sudden developing an arm. Personally, I'd like to see us go with 5 QB's in NFLE every year. They seem to be the only stars that come out of there.

        Thank god we didnt get him. He is more of a freak show then a Qb!
