Fantasy Football League

I know this is a little early but i was wondering if anybody knew any good fantasy football leagues to join(im in yahoo's) or if we had one on this site. I want to face off against some of you here to see how good people are and so i can get some bragging rights.lol. well please let me know any you guys are in so i could look at them thanx

we'll have 3 BFZ official leagues set up :up: just like last year.

there will be a live draft league, an automated draft league, and a manual draft league where the drafting will take place here in the zone.


check out the fantasy football forum for last years games and stories :up:



We'll start setting the leagues up mid-late august to avoid drafting players that get injured in preseason.

It'd be better if we tried getting as much people as possible involved, but if a shortage takes place and we need more people involved then yeah, we can do that.

Some posters did have their own money leagues, they put up their league info. .. it was an individual thing and whoever wanted to join would PM him/her for joining. Its not an official BFZ league though.

By winning a BFZ league, you obviously win bragging rights and earn respect :brush:.. you get a logo under your profile forever with a BZ fantasy champion logo and the year you won it. :D

Don't worry, we changed the rule so that girls can't win anymore. We're pretty certain the girls cheated anyway. They were just a little TOO good, if you know what I mean.

What is the difference between the three?
1 live via instant messenger?
1 here through posting?
automated based on player rankings right?

Live draft ----> you get into your league page on yahoo on a specific time for a couple of hours and draft until you make up your roster.

Automated draft ----> you get a list of all the players available and you rank them based on who you think is more valuable for your team. After the draft date, you'll get the results and your team will be based on how you ranked the players initially.

Manual draft -----> takes place in this forum. It took us about 4 days last season to complete it. Basically you can take your time... something like an hour time limit for each pick, I'll post the details later for this one but if you wanna know more look for posts from last august in this forum and you'll see how it was done.
