Mike Mularkey:

On installation:

We basically started from scratch like we did at the veteran orientation camp. We started all over again. It was another chance for the vets to hear it and feel comfortable about it. We feel like we're starting at a pretty slow pace with the rookies to get them started and comfortable too. It's an emotional time for them to be able to get in and out of the huddle and know what they're doing and be confident about what they're doing. I think by the fifth practice you hope the speed picks up, and it did.

On Willis McGahee running:

A lot of that is he just has to finish the run, and he's been talked to about it. You have to brainwash him, is basically what it is, and keep talking about it and keep doing it until it becomes natural. If there is another defender, even if it's 10-15 yards down the field, make him miss and hit it again with the jets so when it comes to game time it's natural.

On Travis Brown being overshadowed by J.P. Losman:

It's not fair to him. He has had two excellent camps that we've been together. Just seeing him perform out here, he's very confident, very good with being a field general, and made some great throws out here. He's a very good quarterback.

He is right, we do have some real good rookie FA this year. Training camp is gonna be really competitive and we will probably see a few suprise cuts.
