Why would you go from this.....

To this....

All the sideline reporter really is there for is to look good and entertain us with football knowledge once in a while. I was starting to get used to Lisa Guerrero. I still say that Melissa Stark was the best one. Oh well. :sadwalk:

Get the dumb *****es off the sidelines. I don't care how hot they are. If they wanted ratings, they would put them in thong bikinis in the STUDIO.

Right! That LG was a box of ****** Rocks! I wanted to slit my wrists every time she was on!

Plus you couldn't see any skin she was so bundled up! What a waste!

Yes!

Why beat around the bush. No pun intended.

I didn't think LG was any worse than any other sideline reporter...I know that's not saying much...but she certainly had more personality and is quite a bit nicer to look at than any of the others in the past.

Lisa Guerrero was horrible as a reporter, stammering, stuttering, repeating herself all the time. But for those of you saying get the women off the sidelines, I have one word for you, Dickerson. That guy was as bad or worse, his knowledge is there but he can't speak. Melissa Starks was great, the network needs a woman on the sidelines to appease and draw the female viewers.

All this being said, give me the hottest piece of azz possible. I know football, I don't need their knowledge.

http://www.arches.uga.edu/~chelseat/melissastark.jpghas experience on MNF and can only get better
http://www.arches.uga.edu/~chelseat/jillarrington.jpgdid a great job for TNN during Arena Football broadcasts a few years ago
or
http://www.fitnessfiend.com/Images/Suzy_Kolber.jpgI can imagine that her time spent hosting NFL Matchup has made her one of the most knowledgeable female reporters covering the NFL...and she'd likely rank higher than many male reporters as well.

Suzy Kolber is already doing the sidelines for Sunday Night Football. No chance of her doing MNF too.

I agree with you both!

I've been looking all over to find a not so bad picture of Michele Tafoya, and all I came up with are these:

http://espn.starwave.com/media/nfl/2004/0503/photo/e_tafoya_i.jpg http://www.detnews.com/pix/2004/05/04/sports/s004-tafoya-0504n-m.jpg
http://www.amiannoying.com/2002/images/photo.aspx?image=6385.jpg

Let's just say she's not the hottest female sports announcer I've ever seen.

But I did find this:

ESPN's Tafoya regrets dropping beer on football fans

Minneapolis Star Tribune

ESPN reporter Michele Tafoya was in the Twin Cities for the Minnesota-Michigan game when she purposely dropped a beer on some fans. "I lost my composure," she says. "I am so regretful, I can't even tell you. ... I'm embarrassed for myself and the people I was with. ...The bottom line is I lost my cool."

Suzy Kolber? Wasn't she the one during the draft that said something about rookie QB's adjusting to "his or her team".

PS - Bonnie Bernstein is hot... and I think she has a thing for Jeff Fisher's beard.

On the serious side I also heard a rumor from somebody in the DC area that interned with the Redskins that Melissa Stark likes buttsex... and i'm not joking or making that one up.

I remember when they were looking for the MNF sideline reporter they interviewed Jenna Jamison and Carmen Electra alomg others. I personally think it's dumb to sell sex on a MNF game. Only the biggest geeks will ever tune into a game to watch the girls who come like once a quarter.

Give me someone like Steve Young or some ex player any day of the week. Guerrero was a joke, she messed up more then her fair share of times.

This isn't 1970 anymore, if people will want to watch a hot girl on tv, they will look at 3/4's of the other channels before a MNF game. I'd prefer someone with knowledge and someone you can respect before looks. Maybe that's just me.

I hate Armen... he always has to do some stupid emotional piece on how one of the players broke 3 legs, had 82 concussions, his mother shot his dad, and he payed his way through college doing gay porn. He's a douche.

It is not about sex. It is ALL about being PC. Period.

I'm all for equal rights but there has to be a reality check as well. Women in the men's locker room....BAD IDEA. Does that mean a straight guy reporter can interview female figure skaters in the women's locker room? No, of course not. Can you say double standard? :shakeno:

I for one agree with Demon. Give me an ex-player who can give some real insight to the game from the sidelines any day over a hot piece of a**. If I want to check out hot chicks, I'll put on MTV or Playboy channel.

However, I'm okay with women like Kolber and Kohn who do seem to know what they are saying. Bonnie may be knowledgeable as well, but I won't ever find out....she is hot so I tend to glaze over whenever she speaks.

Hence the reason sex and football shouldn't mix. ;)

P.S. Phil - I agree with you on Madden. IMO he's really stale now.

He's been stale for years, IMO. As long as I can remember, he's been coming off like he thinks he's the only one who understands the game....talking about the basics of Football 101.

I liked Melissa Starks...she was a lot better as a reporter than dummy LG. I don't watch MNF to look at a hot chick...then I'd watch porn or something. Gimme a break!

Personally, ALL the sideline reporters annoy me. I don't want the HC of MY team trying to come up with some PC answer. On the way to the locker room, I want him to be ready to light some fires, make adjustments etc etc. On the way out of the locker room, I want him focused on the game.
