Anderson: Dreamed of Playing in the NFL

I expected the Friday night before the draft to be a long night, but actually it was a pretty calm night. I had a couple of good friends come into town that night and I just kind of hung out and slept pretty well. Basically, all day Saturday was pretty nerve racking but Friday night I did sleep a lot better than I expected to. The Bills were the first team to call and obviously all my friends knew not to call and that I'd call them later. I had one call that day.

When I heard my name called at the podium I felt excitement, joy, and the feeling of finally getting to the NFL. I've dreamed about this my entire life. I've always wanted to play in the NFL and to finally be here, to have this opportunity, is obviously pretty exciting.

The game is definitely a lot faster, a lot like the jump from high school to college, and you're going to have the similar jump from college to the NFL, so it's one of those things where you just have to keep playing and it will come to you.
