According to KFFL (http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl?PHPSESSID=3dc18b33ebb39ac0332019d1be56b83f),
The Buffalo Bills have re-signed restricted free agent DT Ron Edwards to a one-year, $628,000 deal

Fine with me...Depth is never a bad thing, especially if it's cheap. He wasn't that bad last year. He got some good push the few times I remember watching him play.

one year deal.. that means he is a lock to play good..lol

i would have been more happy with a 3 year deal like sully.

I agree but I guess they are banking on Gibson playing a few more years and Tim Anderson doing well. This all just pushes Edwards down the food chain here.

I think Edwards is terrible. Personally...I hope this is his last year and that we can sign someone better for back up!!! My guess is that now that we seem to have all the pieces in place and no one that we can see losing next year (due to free agency - and that's assuming we use the money recovered from Bledsoe to keep Schobel and one or two others) we can draft for backup and my guess is DT will be at the top of the list since both Sam and Pat are getting on with their years. Tim Anderson is probably a good 1st choice and we'll need another. I can see the D-Line being our top priority next year...
