The problem here in Chicago is that the stupid Wirtzes don't televise home games. Then, take into effect that they are in the Western conference, 15 games start 8:30 or later. 26 games in 7 months that are on in "prime time".

I was there....10,000 is generous...it was more like 7500...there were whole sections in the lower bowl that was empty...guess Adelphia was really giving out alo of freebies....

Wirtz is so cheap it's unreal. I actually heard a couple years ago that people were so fed up with it that the IHL Chicago Wolves were getting bigger crowds than the Hawks. Is that true?

The crowds are comparable. On the other thread where the league attendance numbers are, look at the Hawks. They are only 1 or 2 ahead of the Sabres. They charge a fortune to go to the games. $50 to stay out of the upper tank. $13 to park. I had freebees for the Sabre game so I took my boy and still dropped $50.
