The short kickoffs were intended to be short. they did it in order to stop miami's different approach on kickoff returns.
short kickoffs were intentional !

Well I figured that Hollis wasn't kicking that way every time by accident.
As long as we don't do that in every game. We gave away starting average field position on our KOs at the Miami 38 YL. That's mighty generous IMO. If we do that to more balanced offensive units then they're gonna capitalize on that a lot more than they may thru one big return play.
Doing that on Sunday and giving up avg. SFP at the Phin 38 sure didn't speak volumes about the confidence coaching has in our STs, eh!Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
Then let's go to Disneyworld!

Well, if we're just gonna give it to them at the 38 each time, why not simply kick the ball out of bounds and give it to them at the 40 and eliminate the risk altogether?
It's not worth 2 yards. I say that the team has to simply learn how to cover kicks!Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
Then let's go to Disneyworld!

Didn't we go through this all season last year? What is this 40yrd SFP crap. WYS is right if we're going to do that kick it out of bounce. They are making excuses because Hollis can't kick-off worth crap but he can bang field goals left and right. We need a guy on the roster other than Moorman who can kick it out of the back of the endzone...that would solve it.
