As a rookie with the Buffalo Bills in 1980, Jim Ritcher had serious doubts that his NFL career would be a long one.
At North Carolina State, he was the Outland Trophy winner, an award given to the nation’s best college lineman. He was Buffalo’s No. 1 draft pick.
