    Evans: The Perfect Script

I didn't really get sleep the night before the draft. I was almost like a kid before Christmas. You know, you get a little sleep but you're up early and you kind of need something to kill time while everybody is sleeping. I was up pretty early and I did a couple of things to try and kill time. It was pretty nerve racking, just the anticipation.

I stayed at home on Saturday. At first it was supposed to be just family coming over but we ended up with a house full of people and a street full of cars. We had a lot of people there in support. I just tried to entertain and keep idle conversation going and try to keep the anticipation and the nervousness down, but it only worked a little bit.

    Good article.

    Let's see:

    Runs a 4.4 40

    Grew up outside Cleveland

Caught most of his passes in the cold Big 10

Looks like a "Buffalo" kind of kid!

He AND JP need to change their facemasks tho. Great players never wear those large ones on offense.

Excellent read. Things that I thought stood out:

        1. He is not taking anything for granted in the NFL. With his injury a couple of years ago, I think he feels he has to appreciate everything that happens to him. So Moss he is not.

        2. He's a rookie, but he is already saying the right things.

        3. He is coming into the organization with respect of its history, players and fans. He may just be one of the most humble guys in the locker room.

        4. Vincent seems to already be mentoring the younger players... and to get advice from an experience DB in this league can teach you a lot. How to beat your man, how to be physical, how to prepare.

        WELCOME TO BUFFALO LEE!
