Of The Morning Call

Reed is now living in the San Diego area with his wife, Cyndi, and two children, Auburn and Andre, Jr.

''They're my favorite team now,'' he said.

He does some TV work for the San Diego Chargers, goes deep-sea fishing, plays a lot of charity golf tournaments with other athletes and celebrities and is getting involved as an endorser for a nutritional supplement with another former NFL star, Quinn Early.

Glad to see that the Chargers are Andre Reed's favorite team now. Never really liked him much he was such a prima-donna. Kelly made his career not him. Dont let the door hit ya in the a*s Andre! Dont bother showing your face in Buffalo again!:chair:

Regardless, Andre was a great player and a key member of the Bills' Super Bowl teams. He will be on the Wall and in the HOF one day.

Don't forget that the Bills uncerimoniously dumped him.

They should put Reed's name up on the wall.

He's still one of my favorite Bills of all time.

Who cares what he said. He still put in blood and sweat for my entertainment.

uncerimoniously dumped him? He BEGGED to be cut. I liked what Reed did in the games, but he was a constant whiner. I think when he left the Bills he needed about 35 more receptions to get to 1000 and he couldn't even do that. I remember when he was signed by Denver and he expected the rookie that had his number to just give it up to him. He was a great player, but he was far from being a class act when things didn't go his way.

I think he may have been refering to his family as "my favorite team now".

Andre was a whiner but he will always be a great player remembered for his years as a buffalo bill, futhermore when he gets inducted in to the hall it will be as a Buffalo bill not a charger!!

Pro football HOFers don't go in with any team affiliation. They just go in.

I don't know if I would call Quinn Early a former star....

He was in New Orleans. Then again, how much notoriety can you get when you play for the Saints? WITHOUT a cell phone, that is!

If they were putting Andre's name on the wall I would not go to that game. If he was going to Canton I would not go there.

He told Ralph he was going to retire and if they did not give him an extension and a big signing bonus too bad for the Bills. Halfway through the season he asks to be released but did not offer to give back the signing bonus he blackmailed for.

I still got mad love for Andre Reed. Those comments are a bit disheartening, and a bit shocking, but we all should grant him the right to speak his mind.
