    Losman in the Preseason?

Do you guys think he'll get a considerable chunk of playing time? I mean like 1-2 quarters a game. If so, how do you think he'll do? Will he have learned enough of the O to be effective? This may be our only chance to see him play the whole season.

I think he will get quite bit of playing time. As far4 as how well he'll do we won't have a clue until we we get reports from training camp and until he gets into the game.

He should be on the field a lot in preseason games 1,2, and 4. The third preseason game is usually seen as the tuneup game for the starter, so Drew will probably be in for at least a half, and possibly more. Otherwise, I expect Losman to average two quarters in the remaining three preseasopn games.

good point, but why exactly the 3rd game the tune up game? I've noticed this too.

The 4th game is: finalize your roster and keep your starters healthy game.

Travis Brown will prob start the season out at #2.Greg Zolman might get some snaps as well as Nate Chandler.

Zolman and Chandler may both get a few snaps early in preseason, but I doubt that both of them survive the first cut.

I'd give Bledsoe the time he usually gets and then give the rest to Losman. He needs to get as much real game experience as possible. Maybe give Brown 1 quarter the entire pre-season.

I would give the number 2 spot to Brown..... If Bledsoe goes down I dont think Losman will be ready.

I am so excited to see what the kid can do. Losman really has tremendous potential, and who knows, he could become the best qb out of this class. Ya never know...

What if he really is somewhat like a Brett Farve ( not as good, but similar in style, arm strength, & durability )

It depends, if he's the #2 QB heading into the games, yes, he'll get to see the field quite a bit, even more than usual because he's a rookie. and needs to learn as much as possible if he's going to be the primary backup.
