Chandler Stands Tall Among Bills QBs

With all of the attention and focus on first round draft pick J.P. Losman and veteran Drew Bledsoe, Bills fans may not have heard too much about free agent quarterback Nathan Chandler.

On April 26, 23-year old Chandler agreed to terms with the Bills along with 17 other undrafted free agents. While Chandler may have gone undrafted, he stood tall during his collegiate career.

At 6-6, 257-pounds, Chandler was 165-of-308 for 2,040 yards with 18 touchdowns while leading the Iowa Hawkeyes to a 10-3 record and an eighth overall ranking in 2003.

Playing just four possessions in his second career start, Chandler was 8-of-11 for 113 yards and two touchdowns in a 56-7 victory over Buffalo on September 6.

Two weeks later he tossed three touchdowns in a 21-2 win over 16th-ranked Arizona State to give the Hawkeyes four straight wins for the first time since 1997.

He may be one of those diamonds in the rough - I think he started only one year - who will be pretty good in a few years.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I'll take either him or Zolman over Brown any day. Brown is useless.

No doubt. Chandler looked better than Brown at the open practice, IMO.

Does Brown have some pictures of them in compromising positions, or what?
