So what do we think can the Amerks make it to the Calder cup finals? They start tonight in Milwaukee.

When is the last time they were in the finals & won it?

They one a couple in the mid-1990's - Biron in net- Holzinger, Ward, Dawe, -and many more of the Sabres who went on to the big club and made good playoff runs in the late 90's

I thought they had a calder cup with Biron in net & they played against Portland & Ron Tugnutt was they're goalie. Then later on the Sabres beat the Ottawa Senators with Tugnutt in net when Plante scored in OT in game 7...

I think they won in 1994... Or it might have been 1995 (I'm too lazy to check!). I watched it with my friend, not sure why we didn't just get tickets and go to the games, seeing as I was living at home at the time in Roch.

I think I just heard on the news Rochester lost 2-1 to the Admirals :( !!!!!!

1996 with Steve Shields vs Ron Tugnutt...the irony was that they faced each other in the playoffs the year later... derek plante winning it in game 7

They Didnt Play That Bad COnsidering they Were OFF for almost 2 and a half Weeks..

They Are Winning 3-1 Right Now Though...

Rochester won 4-1 series now even at 1 a piece. Next 2 games are in Buffalo. Anyone know why?

Amerks Lose In OT On a A Dive.. At Least It Looked Like a Dive on ESPN News... and The Announcer Said it was a Dive..

yes it did lok like a dive I wish I didnt have to work last night or this evening I would have went to the games!!! I Cant believe there was over 8500 people there!!!

well i guess its over they dropped 3 straight i heard some people blaming it on Miller. They said he let in some softies..

they played two games in Buffalo and not a note in the local fish wrap...what a joke.
