http://www.buffalobills.com/photos/tucker521_subsq.jpgEvery offseason since I've been in the NFL I've done some type of internship because typically we just have workouts in the morning so we have a lot of time in the afternoon to do whatever we want with. Some guys just want to hang out. Some guys like to do other things. Some like to golf. Everybody has things they like to do. I like to get ready for the next step in life. Having these internships has allowed me to do that.

This offseason I'm working with Merrill Lynch on Pearl and Chippewa Street downtown. I'm working with a team of financial advisors. One of whom is Kurt Schulz who played with the Bills for eight years and Detroit for two. I go two or three times a week for about 10-15 hours a week. I learn a lot, as much as I can, and try to add as much value as I can.

It's been a great opportunity. It's something I really enjoy. Obviously for any player in the league, football is not going to last forever. Maybe the sooner you realize that, the better. This is something that I have a potential interest in doing when football is over, so I wanted to take a longer look at it, learn more about it and see if it's something that I definitely want to do. It seems to me so far that's it's something that I am really interested in. I'm just soaking up as much as I can.

That's cool. But I'm a lot more interested in what he can bring BEFORE he retires. We know he has the brains to do the job- he's an Ivy leaguer- probably got a 40 on the Wonderlic. But how that helps him handle a bull rush I don't know.
