For the Burns family education is at the top of the priority list. That's why Joe, who left Georgia Tech a year early to pursue an NFL career, is now finishing his degree in business management.
"It's very important to me," said Burns. "It's the reason I went to college. It's something my parents wanted me to do and I was hoping to be the first one in my family to graduate from college, but my sister beat me to it, but I'll be happy to be the second."
Burns admitted that when he saw his sister Adrian receive her diploma it made him think about the day when he graduates.
