I think it could happen playing opposite of a healthy E. Moulds. The Qbs that were drafted who get to start most likely will struggle.

So could Roy Williams, Kellen Winslow, Sean Taylor, and Larry Fitzgerald. That's some tough competition!

Sean Taylor will win it as long as he doesn't get hurt.

He would win defensive rookie of the year.

There are 2 awards, offensive rookie of the year and defensive rookie of the year.

I think he's got at least a decent shot at it. He's in the right situation and could really flourish here, possibly right away too.

Gonna be tough for Winslow to win without a decent QB to throw to him. Dont try and tell me Jeff Garcia is there answer thats like saying Warner is gonna help some team.

Fitzy still gotta beat out Boldin, Johnson, Poole, and like the other 50 million other receivers on ARZ to get his shot.

Sean Taylor is defense.

I think Evans has a damn good shot at OROY.

I think Lee's chances aren't as high as one might think - even if he does great. Remember that we're (supposedly) a run-minded offense now. That means, mostly running and less yards for Moulds or Evans. However, my guess is that teams will still try and double team Moulds and take their chances that the rookie is still green on his ears. If he learns quickly, he may put up some early numbers...but then defenses will adjust to cover him also and his numbers will drop and Moulds will go up. So it'll even itself out. My guess is that he'll have a decent season - but not rookie of the year.

Frankly, I'm more interested in McGahee stepping up and he and Travis being a strong 1-2 punch. I'm also looking forward to same pancake flattening with Jason Peters...

Like I have stated before Mularkey has produced 2 1000 yard receivers as well as a 1000 yard rusher in 2001. It can be done.

He's got as good a chance as any, but let's not hand it to him just yet.

Is McGahee eligible for Rookie of the Year? I don't think he dressed for any games last year

Evans has to beat out Josh Reed and Bobby Shaw fr the #2 spot. Both WR are known for being very good in the slot.

Fitzy has to beat out. last years ROY Anquan Boldin, 1st round pick from last year in Bryant Johnson, and a guy who came on big late in the season Nate Poole. Not to mention other young guys in Bryan Gilmore and Jason McAddley all who at one point or another have had big games for the Cards in the recent past. Fitzy has alot more work to do then Evans.

I don't think we are gonna throw enough for him to be ROY

Keep that belief alive. But how much does he need to be thrown too? If he gets 10 tosses a game and catches 7 of them hes bound to avg over 50+ yds per game and with his hops you gotta throw the fade.

If he avgs 7 catches and 50 yards a game thats 112 receptions for 800 yards. Thats ROY type stats. Especially if he gets the #2 spot then hes got a real good shot.

We aren't going to be a run or oass oriented team but balanced. Mularkey has said that he wants to eat up the clock and that you can do that with an effecient passing game too.

OMG DB.....................Moulds has never even put up 112 receptions in a year and now you are looking for that out of a rookie?

If he gets 7 rec he better put up a lot more than 50yds on those catchs. He's gonna be our deep threat/ 8ypc would not even be acceptable outta Josh Reed

I know 112 catches in unrealistic but you make it seem like hes gonna need great numbers to be ROY. When in reality he'll need 60-70+ catches 700+ yards and 5-8TD's for a receive at least.

Unfortunately no. I guess since they activated him and he was eligble to play in games, he's now considered a "first-year player". He can't win the ROY award.
