the buffalo news reports that Clements wont get his $1500 after the Nfl called the bills and said that they "discouraged the players from going through with it"

Um...I heard that too, but what can the NFL do, follow Clements 24/7 to make sure no other Bills player hands him some cash? Good luck enforcing that rule.

ok seriously...it isnt ANY of the nfl's business. this is pathetic. if the owner were doing this...then it may vialiate against the cap...but its the players...ridiculous IMO

At least it wasnt as bad as when they said they would suspend anyone who gave money for the pot that was going around for the fine they slapped on that guy that gave that hit that put chambers out a few weeks ago. the nfl just discuraged it in this situation, i think the money should go to a charity of Nate's choice.

Venis, that smilie is inaccurate if you use it to Dolphin fans.

4TH, it looks like Run Ricky Run, really doesn't know the whole story on why Ricky did so lousy in the game against a 3/13 team of last year.

From what I understand, his victory dress was still in the cleaners and they are closed on Sunday. So there was no reason for him to do any better from what I understood, he wouldn't look fashionable after the game if the dolphin's won.
