Just so everyone knows how much I hate them.

for those that don't know, lay on your back on the floor and raise your feet (with legs straight) approximately 6 inches off the floor - now FLUTTER them!

Yes. Tough but effective for the lower abs and hip flexors.

Flutter kicks sounds too girly. I prefer "alternate leg lifts." :D

Doesn't that imply that you're setting each foot down after the "lift"? :cynic:
