    Is Eli Manning Doomed?

Giants QB coach Kevin Killdrive is on hand to help the #1 pick establish the habits that may last a lifetime, and impart the wisdom of years of brilliant coaching with pearls such as...

...if it's third and a half yard and the safety creeps up near the LOS, automatically check off into a pass play.

...if you're between the twenty yard lines and it's third down, pass no matter what.

...if you're playing aginst a tough D and you have a chance to score early, try the half back option.

    ...the TE is useless.

...if you're expecting a blitz, tell your receivers to keep it complicated.

...if it's working, do it every week even after it stops working.

..."maximum protection" means four WR sets.

...a "power" offense means me doing exactly what I want to do.

Manning and Gilbride deserve each other. I hope they go down in flames.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

        You forgot this one:
...if you have one of the best blocking fullbacks in the game on your team, make sure you put him in motion 90% of the time he's on the field, lining him up as a WR. It'll fool the defense every time

It would be so funny if the Manning family comes forward in a few years and tells the Giants to fire Gilbride or there son will quit football. I know they might be driven to that extreme with him as coach, I was almost driven to the bottle and I haven't drank in 26 years.

Even money says Coughlin punches Gilbride by the end of the year.

Are you handling the action? If so, I've got $2 on he DOES.

I'm in for $20 that he at the very least berates him on the sideline during a game.

It's already "The Day After Tomorrow" at the Meadowlands.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Don't laugh...this is a very real possibility. Think about Coughlin....remember when Flutie ran the naked bootleg (albeit because TT didn't take the handoff) to win the game in the last few seconds and Coughlin screamed to the media, "everyone in the stadium knew is was going to be a naked!!!"

He was so red I thought he was going to explode right there. :xplode:

I think if Killdrive calls some super bonehead play that Tom might just crack him one upside the head with his clipboard.

I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!
