Chad Hutchinson let the reins of the Rhein fire over to Zolman in his first start today. (finally) He looks pretty good out there as he going, right now, around 10-15 for about 120 yards, a TD, a pick. Of course this is only NFLEL, but still. He looks like he has good zip on the ball. He might be able to unseat Brown, or at least survive on the PS.
Zolman gets first start in Europe

How much authority does a coach in NFL Europe have to bench an ineffective starter (like Hutchison). Would Zolman ever have gotten a start had Hutchison not been injured, and is Hutchison set to start as soon as he's healthy again?I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

I think it was their last game. A pity since it was such a thriller. And a solid job by Zolman was lost b/c of our own Mike Shafer missed a kick. That led to the Galaxy winning in overtime. Chad should have been benched long ago, and Zolman ended up 15 QB rating points ahead of him (91.4) with his limited action. Zolman had a solid game, and his leadership may be his best asset outside of his arm strength. He is a true field general. You could reely see him command the team down the field, even on TV. He did it w/ more poise than half of the NFL QBs i see today. He needs some work on footwork and especially accuracy though. It'll be interesting how he does in our preseason. His overall stats were around 67-106 for 516 yards."It's not whether you win or lose; it's how you play the game."-Vince Lombardi
