Are our DBs that good? Or. . .

Reading a story out of the last OTA session (links on front page)

the suggestion/statement is that receivers are having a lot of trouble getting deep, and Bledsoe was having to throw a lot of dump offs. We are supposed to have an elite receiver in Moulds, and drafted the fastest WR in the draft. So what gives. Is our defence just that good, or does our offensive coaching staff really have its work cut out for it? It would be nice to hear a lilttle more from Tom Clements and Tyke Tolbert on this subject.

    You thoughts?
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

Good question....but the real positive on this one is that Drew is getting a lot of practice in throwing the short ones.

Yes, I think our secondary is that good. Also:
"Buffalo's defense, which returns mostly intact and has the same coordinator."

That should explain it all. We have a completely new O. Coaches and players.

What is OTA? Organized team activities? I know it is short for mini-camp.

I do believe that it is just to get Drew to get rid of the ball quicker. I have read countless times they are working on him getting rid of it a lot quicker to the dump-offs so maybe the WR's aren't getting open immediately so he isn't throwing it....Fine with me, don't force it or worse yet....HOLD IT. Dump it to Willis and Travis or Campbell and Euhus/Peters.

                  Not a problem Kramer.
I don't see the D being excellent in our OTAs as a bad thing at all.
