Apparently Ricky Williams forgot that there was a mini-camp for the Dols on Tuesday. Sounds like the brain cells are really starting to fizzle there.

Looks like trouble abounds in "The City That Penicillin Forgot".:snicker::spit:

He already cut his dreads... that suggests that this is going to resurface as an issue in the pre-season.

That is a pretty long reach there juice. If you areimplying he is trying to get rid of all his hair for drug testing purposes, let me stop you now, his hair had been growing back and he has a beard as well. If pot was a continuing problem, I don't think he would allow his hair to grow back.

As for missing practice, that is definately a no no. As long as he shows up for the games though, I will forgive him. :hail:

Did Ricky really say he didn't know there was a practice?

Residuals of THC remain in the bloodstream for a while. No hair? Do a blood test.

This is another stupid thread. Who cares about Ricky shaving his head. It turned from a funny news story to:

Rickey shaved his head. Must be drugs!

Come on guys grow up! I say that to both sides of fans not just one.

Not exactly. Reports surfaced that he was helpiing to move his assistant's daughter in New York and thought Tuesday was a voluntery workout day, in which he planned to make up later on. However, later, he was informed of the actual practice when Wannstedt, Spielman and everyone else called him to wonder where he was. Miami said he was excused form practice previously, but that sounds like a cover up so to not scare people that they didn't know where Ricky was.

Agreed. I found it funny that one can be deduced by the other ( hair shaving= drugs!) Oh well. I will continue to fight the good fight though. Whenever injustice happens, I will be there. When a Bills fan, Jets fan, Dolphins fan or Pats fan makes a dumb prediction, I will be there. Whenever there is dollar beers and free porn, you bet your sweet bippy I will be there.

If you had a Rep as the League Pothead you'd shave your dreads as well.

I bet his agent suggested he "Loose the dreads Bob Marley"... It only makes sense if your accused of using Weed not to come to your hearing with a Bob Marley T-Shirt on sportin' the Knotty Dreads.

He's only been growing his dreads for the last Decade... why would he decide to go with the Full Michael Jordan? Maybe he converted from being a Rasta to a Buddist.

No matter how "Dumb" the thought of Ricky increasing his chances of getting a Multi-game suspension by having the Dreadlocks seems to you... It is still a fact that Dreads are associated with Pot Use.

Either way your superstar RB is a bigger head case than your superstar FA WR. I wonder which will miss the most games this year for Banned Substances.

I was not implying that he cut his dreads for "Drug Testing Purposes"... I am saying he cut them for PR purposes.

And it still doesn't discount the fact that he likes wearing wedding dresses.:puke::snicker:

Well if you were to bet his agent suggested he cuts his hair, you would be on the losing end. For you to make an ignorant statement that Dreads are associated with pot usage shows how easily succeptable you are to stereotypes.

My guess is that Boston and Williams will mass as many games for banned substances as Travis Henry misses for rape. I don't know what report you were watching of him wearing a Bob Marley shirt to his hearing either. I assume you are trying to crack a joke but it falls short because your whole thesis, is in fact, a joke. Another jump is Ricky is the "league pothead" as you ascertain. By that leap, Travis Henry is the "league rapist" and Eric Moulds is the "league deadbeat dad." Please, try to show some type of capacity to think without those Buffalo glasses on.

Ricky had the opportunity to cut his dreads and cash in big time with Gillette for doing so. Somewhere in the range of 300,000 dollars. Instead he cut them in the middle of the desert of Australia without cameras or anyone else around him. There was a huge article on it not too long ago, but I guess you probably failed to read that or how when he got back from his trip, he sold his cars and ave the money to charity, or how he sold off most of his worldly possesions for the same cause, or how he has raised thousands upon thousands for his and other charites. It is funny how you forget all the positives he had done no?

Now that your argument has been stunted, what else would you like to talk about? :lolcry:

I think the term for Travis Henry would actually be the League Pedophile.

We can talk about the rest of the "Ignorant Miami Misfits"...

I bet Ricky wishes he had taken that Gilette deal now... I have a feeling the only other deals he might get will be from Tops and Dutch Masters.

Feeley and Feidler might get offers from Schick Womans Razors and Boston from Ephedra.

Not that I'm condoning Ricky's actions...but...he has bigger problems than drugs. On top of his Social Anxiety Disorder, it's most probable that he also suffers from Manic Depressive episodes (both issues are usually linked with one another).

I know for a fact that manic depressives often self-medicate. Most turn to alcohol, but a growing number are finding marijuana quite theraputic. Some therapists and psychologists are even suggesting marijuana as a medical tretment for their extremely depressed patients.

Both S.A.D. and Manic Depressives will withdrawl from high anxiety issues during their rougher periods. Ricky has done this in the past, and this disease is a cyclical one. He is almost bound to do it again even with the help that he is currently receiving.

Negative publicity can only drive him even deeper.

While I respect your thoery and agree for the most part with it, I disagree with the last part about him being driven even deeper.

The problem with your theory though is that he has grown and matured each year in the league. He cut his hair to, in his words, "start over." He felt he was hiding behind his hair and did't want to do that anymore, at least at that time. He wants to be more of a vocal leader, he has stated that this is now his team and he wil lead them. That type of confidence has never been seen before in him. In my opinion, it is a good thing too. Again, the tests he took back in december aren't really too conclusive anyways. He took two, passed one, and failed another by the minimum he could fail it. I haven't heard if his appeal was denied yet or anything, so I assume he did in fact, smoke but it isn't confirmed yet.

He takes medication for his anxienty disorders, and while it is not unheard of to have more problems that go along with it, no one has heard of any others that are associated with Ricky.

He SAID he was hiding behind his hair... But it took him five years to get up enough confidence to remove his Helmet and Faceshield... He's hiding alright, from the PissMan.

Whether he was Eating Brownies, Smoking, or just caught a contact, he failed the Pisstest AGAIN and is facing a suspension... Banned substances were either present or they weren't.

Positive is positive just like in a Pregnacy test.
