Are you sticking to your plan? Maybe it needs a little tweaking.
I started yesterday to walk to and from Penn Station. It takes 15-20 minutes. That's 30-40 minutes of added activity for me a day!

I've been playing tennis every day and not eating after dinner. My gut is starting to shrink.
I won't have a weight until Monday though when I get back to the gym. :(

Valerie.. have you thought that maybe you are toning up a bit, so you may actually get leaner but add a pound or two (muscle). That's a better trade off IMO.

I suppose, Cntry. I just know that I'm really depressed about the number on the scale. :( I do feel better and I've got to be doing something right if I'm able to speed walk the way I do. I just wish the number on the scale would go down.

Maybe you should try a different measurement method.... tape measure? or how your clothes are fitting.. You're doing great at the speed walking - so try not to get depressed. Your goal is to decrease your time - and you're doing that... right? :)

If you look like you did when we met, don't even bother looking at the scale! If anything, you were too skinny!
