    Bills Notebook-6/5/04

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Jerel Myers will miss the rest of the spring workouts after having foot surgery, coach Mike Mularkey said.
Myers, who spent most of last season on the practice squad, was on crutches with a protective shoe on his right foot at practice Friday. Mularkey said Myers should be healthy in time for training camp.

Outside linebacker Jeff Posey was held out of practice for a second straight week because of a sore left ankle.

Defensive tackle Oliver Gibson also didn't workout Friday. Mularkey didn't disclose the nature of Gibson's injury but said it was nothing serious.

Yea... Why the hell was Drew playing WR?.... he better never do that in a game.
You're right, I am a coward! I haven't any courage at all. I even scare myself.

Drew is their secret weapon. Set him out wide, snap the ball to JP. The corner back will run down the field to cover him and five seconds later discover Drew is wide open, just five yards past the LOS.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

You people who b1tch about Drew should at least be happy that your boy would be the one in there to throw Drew the ball............but you are always looking at the negatives...glass is always half empty around here

we (me) are not anti-drew at all...im just complaining about having him line up at reciever...that only works if he is at all a threat that would merit actual coverage.

Well if they leave him wide open he can catch the ball for a 10 or 15 yard gain.............if they do cover him then at least he takes a defender away from another receiver.........IMO any time you can throw 2 QBs on the field at the same time it will confuse and cause problems in the defense.

Exactly...and it's not like it's a play that the Bills would actually run more than once or twice...a trick play to change things up. All Clements has to do is use his brain a little bit more than Gilbride did and refrain from running trick plays at stupid opportunities and we should be fine.
