Anyone interested in a $50 pay league?

This is not BillsZone affiliated, but if I can get enough interest, I will be running a $50 Fantasy Football League.

I'd like to get 12 players. Draft would be LIVE.

That makes a $600 pot. Subtract roughly $100 for sportsline commissioner service, and that leaves $500 for prizes.

    Prize Estimates:
    Champion: $260
    Runner-up: $100
    Weekly High-Scorer - $10 (Regular Season Only)

If you're interested, Please email me at lordofgun@hotmail.com

    Thanks!

By live draft, I mean an online chat-room style draft. Draft would probably take place the weekend of August 25th.

Why not just use a public league on NFL.com? Save the $120 (which is WAY too high, imo).

We could do that, but we wouldn't have full control of everything...

              it's doable though.

Hal, the more i think about it...the more I like your idea. Grand prize would be $360 instead of $260.

I meant private league, but you get the idea.

Yahoo has a customizable commissioner service and I believe it's still free. I haven't used it but it looks like it has many settings just like CBS. If we do that, my preference is to not use individual defensive players - too many positions to keep track of. Team defense is plenty, imo.

Ill do it - but i dont want to commit until it gets a little closer - wanna make sure that Ill be around for the draft... Isnt there some way we can do it without giving sportsline any money? Do a free leauge and send all money to the winner or something?

                        Hal,

yeah i think we'll do the private league. I don't like yahoo because live scoring costs extra.

                        tanked,

we're gonna do the free nfl.com/sportsline league. that way we get all the money, just as you said!

CBS sportsline is like a crack dealer. They let us use the league for free now they are realing us in.
