    Shaw Looking Forward to Competition

Bills wide receiver Bobby Shaw is looking forward to a competitive training camp. With the first round selection of speedy receiver, Lee Evans, the Bills should have great depth at the position.

Shaw is picking up the new offensive scheme very well early on in organized team activities. He played under new Bills head coach Mike Mularkey in Pittsburgh, but said you never really stop learning.

"I wouldn't say I had an advantage (from working with Mularkey in the past)," Shaw said. "Everyone learns at their own pace and it really matters how much you are willing to put into it. I'm not necessarily starting from scratch, but I went back to the beginning to make sure I was familiar with it."

Shaw played well for the Bills last season. He caught 56 passes for 732 yards and two touchdowns, the highest total of his career. He also won a Tops Game Ball in October for his performance against the division-rival New York Jets. In that game, Shaw had six receptions for 58 yards including five of those catches for first downs. With his clutch play that game, he extended his career-long receiving streak to 18 games.

As useful as he was last season, he'll be battling for the 4th receiver spot.
