Anybody Heard Anything About Marcus Jones.

Wondering if anyone has any resource or any info on former Tampa Bay Bucs DE Marcus Jones who did not end up panning out for Buffalo last preseason....I think we made an injury settlement with him, but if I am not mistaken we still have rights to him......maybe he could be a wild card for us this year if he is healthy....here is his info... 71 Marcus Jones

I believe he has a new career where his most important question is, "Fries with that?"
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

He volunteered to retire last season. We didn't cut him. He doesn't want to play pro football again.

that situation didnt work out, but it barely cost us more than an UFA rookie.

His surgically repaired knee did not heal quickly enough to let him be effective and he approached Donahoe about realeasing him because his pride wouldn't let him continue to collect a paycheck that he wasn't earning. I don't think that necessarily rules out the possibility of a comeback attempt this season. However, I don't have any evidence that he is considering it. He may well have decided it's time to move on with his life.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

His pride wouldn't allow him to collect a paycheck that he wasn't earning? Are you sure that we are talking about an NFL football player?

At least that was the official line, Kramer.
