the + number next to the team indicates that teams odds. it is also based on a 100$ bet.. if you bet 100, you win 4000 if the bills win.. we are about in the middle of the pack.

basically, we are 40-1 odds.

I can't believe Dallas is that high!

The oddsmakers are figuring in the Parcells factor.

I wonder if anyone, even in Arizona would actually bet on the Cards to win it all. I think San Diego is rated too high at 50 to 1 against. I don't th ink the Jets deserve lower odds than Buffalo, but they are downgrading Buffalo on the brand new head coach factor. I don't see why Atlanta is rated so much higher than
Buffalo.

Look at the teams lumped in with us at 40-1:

Chicago Bears
Cincinnati Bengals
New York Giants
Pittsburgh Steelers
San Francisco 49ers

All these teams blow.

They have Michael Vick, the greatest player never to have accomplished anything.

For those Vick haters or doubters beware.....as much as I hate to say because he is not in Buffalo, but Vick WILL be the best QB ever to play this game...so far.

I'm not a Vick hater. I simply think it's a bit early, based on his achievements to date, to annoint him as the greatest thing since canned beer.

The Titans are the most overrated team on that list! Do people not realize what they lost this off season?

we were 40-1 last year too. I took that bet last year. I won't take it this year. Not as long as :gag: is playing QB

You realize, of course, that betting odds are based on the number of people who will bet for that team, not on who sports experts believe are the best teams.

Joe Blow is much more likely going to plop down a hundred bucks on Michael Vick or Bill Parcells than whoever the hell they have up there in that place that snows in July.

halbert said it before me.. all these odds represent are how the betting public is betting..

if everyone and their brother decided to put a bunch of cash on denny green and the cards to win the superbowl.. but all the other bets were coming in the same as right now.. then the cards would move up to like 50-1..

you see my point..

this is not a prediction of how vegas truely sees it.. it is how vegas anticipates the public betting.
