That was great!! What was even better was seeing the drunk Canadian guys in front of me trying to do it, and hold onto their beer at the same time.

The wave is gay. In Chicago, they beat the hell out of anyone who tries to start one.

At least the they did hold onto it. I had a dumb drunk jerk behind me spill his beer down my back and pants. I had a frozen @$$ the rest of the game.

I think that anyone who spills their beer shouldn't be allowed to drink it. That's alcohol abuse, and they should be reported to AA immediately.

:drinker:

In the southern hemisphere they go clockwise.

Best wave ever that I had particapated in was at an Orioles-Angels game last year. It lasted for a good ten minutes.

Actually, I think the only beer spilled involving you was when your buddy behind you bumped you yesterday....Don't worry though...I know you'll spill again. ;)

Well, when the wave was going on yesterday, they were in a LONG time-out. Once play started again, the wave died off.

I went to see Syracuse play PITT somewhere around 20 years ago. It was still the early days of the carrier dome and a packed house. The wave started in the second quarter, lasted through halftime, the third quarter and about ten minutes into the fourth. I'll never forget that. Syracuse football was so pathetic in those days fans bought tickets just to do the wave.

The thing about the wave that made it so perfect was....

The fact that is went all the way around the entire stadium in perfect sync. Every single level was in sync (the 100 level, 200 level and even the top 300 level). It flowed so perfectly. I think there was about 7-8 times where the wave went around the stadium perfectly. Once it started, it kept going on and went perfectly. If Bledsoe and the offense did NOT have the ball, we would have kept doing it. I gotta applaud whoever started it...because it helped get the offense pumped. I saw them all watching the crowd during the commercial timeout as we were doing it. They got into it and were pumped up and the fans were, too! The only problem, once the wave ended and Bledsoe and CO were back on the field...it took a little bit of time to calm the crowd back down again.
