Starting today at 12 noon, I just received my TrimSpa X32 pills and am going to use that to help me eat less and I have also started to cut off all pop at work. I'm drinking more water now, and diet ice tea. I also am starting to use my sister's Ab Roller Plus and see if that helps too.

Oh yeah, and I've started to take the multi-vitamins too, because I need more vitamins in my body.

Sounds like a great start.

Add some cardio. Some walking, jogging, bike ridding. Something. Keep active!

BF1 is right...movement is the key...don't get hooked by those fancy toys they sell on TV...take up something you like and stick with it...

Just be careful Mikey, these things aren’t magic.

http://cbsnewyork.com/lisadrayer/local_story_170150529.html

· 2. Trimspa
· A diet pill that “gives you a feeling of fullness long before you have the chance to overeat”

· Take 1-2 tables, 2-3 times per day

The Red Flag: ”Dream Body Diet Pill”

A healthy body is achieved by following a calorie-controlled diet and engaging in regular exercise; not by popping a pill. Trimspa contains chromium, which plays a role in enhancing carbohydrate metabolism, as well as other ingredients that have not been tested for safety, including hoodia gordonii, an appetite suppressant. The pill also contains vanadium, a relatively toxic element*; animal studies suggest that long-term daily intakes exceeding 10 mg of elemental vanadium lead to toxicological effects.

I would be more worried about hordonii than about vanadium

here is another part of that article:

1. The Original Hollywood Celebrity Diet

“Cleanse and detoxify your body” while losing “unwanted pounds of fat”.

Drink one 10 oz. bottle, three times a day. Repeat on day 2.

No food, caffeine, alcohol

The Red Flag: Lose Up to 10 Pounds in Just 2 Days!
The Hollywood Celebrity “Diet” is simply juice with the addition of some vitamins. Quick weight loss is achieved, because you can only consume 375 calories per day, and most of the weight lost is water weight, due to the rapid release of water from the body’s glycogen (carbohydrate) stores. Any weight loss achieved will probably be gained back immediately after consuming food.

while that is true you do want to burn the glycogen that is stored in your body...if there is no glycogen to get fuel from the body will burn the carbs that you take in more efficiently...burning the calories that you take in is, obviously, essential to weight loss.

Mikey, the key here is that you are 21...your body is much more efficient at burning off calories than say somebody my age, 39...habit and discipline start now! Your body also hasn't been through as much as mine. By age alone, I've been much more active in my life than you have...hell I can guarentee you that by the time I was 21 years old I had done more physically than you have...I wake up in the morning and the bones in my feet, ankles and knees all crack and pop...you can start exercising much better than I can at my age...it is essential you start now...

I did a lot of researching about it, including from a site that Sabre11 posted. http://www.fitnessinfomercialreview.com/trimspa.htm

There were a bunch of good reviews and not a ton of negatives. I'm testing it out and have ordered two bottles. I'm not looking for a miracle pill, but i'm looking for something to give me a little "nudge". I saw some of the red flags, however..most of the stuff in the pill is all natural, compared to many other diet pills. That makes me feel a little better about it.

I understand what you mean and that's why I'm also considering putting aside $100 bucks or so of my paycheck and buying a new bike. I used to love riding it around the neighborhood and I always worked up a sweat, and after it was ran over by a car in the driveway, I stopped bike riding and actually do miss it. I also am going to consider getting a membership to Ballys where my sister and mom go, in September or October...but I have one thing I need to take care of first...getting my credit cards paid up and getting a new car in August, before my red POS breaks apart on me. *knock on wood*

I did that one! It's some orange colored stuff and they sell it in CVS. I can't remember if it worked or not. And, chances are I've tried most of the diet products out there. I even spent over $500.00 to go and get wrapped in ace bandages soaked in some "miracle" liquid to help me lose pounds and inches. lol You wear panties and a bra and they wrap whatever parts of your body you want to lose inches and pounds. Then you put on this plastic suit and sit in a recliner for 30 minutes. I did that twice a week for about a year. :lmao:

Most of the junk mail I get, other than my save the animals stuff, is diet stuff and large people's clothing magazines.

I'm a sucker for diet and/or body crap. I hate my body so much, I'm willing to do or buy almost anything. lol

Although, it also helps that I cut the pop out of my diet and have cut down on the snacking (thanks to TrimSpa, I'm not that hungry). I also have kept up with the situps and am starting to walk more too. Plus, I'm drinking more water now than I have in ages. Let's see if I can finally get under 300 next week.

Start walking all the time. The weight will just fall off.

maybe it's because your body is telling you that you dont have much more to lose. you are perfect the way you are and definitely not fat. You don't need to lose ANY weight. Maybe just work on building the muscles up.

But surely you won't continue to lose about 5 lbs a week for very long?!?!? That doesn't seem healthy. Maybe one of the other guys can shed some light on that. But anyway..... you have your "ultimate" goal, but to keep from getting discouraged you could have interim goals.... weekly....

IMO that's alot.... BUT - you are using the trimspa.... so I don't know. :idunno: I've never used anything like that before. Do you only plan on taking them until you get to a certain level? Eventually, they won't be as beneficial as exercise and a good diet.

I would think that 20-25 pounds a month is a LOT! Maybe for someone who weighs 300 pounds it isn't TOO unrealistic, but wow! I'm thinking more like 10-15 pounds a month would be more attainable. Slower weight loss helps you keep it off, IMO. :) I would also tend to think it would be healthier for you. That's just MY opinion, though. You need to do what's comfortable for you. Last year I lost around 20 pounds in, what, 6 months? and that was what was comfortable for me. :) I haven't gotten on the scale for a couple of months now and probably won't for another couple of weeks - I usually try to avoid the scale unless I know (or think) I've lost some weight. :)

Just be careful Mikey. If you are starting to exercise and eat less try cutting back the dose of Trim Spa and see if you get good results. Chances are your weight loss is due more to the working out and eating less and the faster you can get off the pills the better.

http://www.herbal-supplements-guide.com/trim-spa-side-effects.html

Trim Spa Side Effects - Lasting Effects of Diet Pills

More important than the possible Trim Spa side effects is the fact that some diet pills can be detrimental to your long term health. Once you stop taking these pills you are usually in worse shape than you were to begin with, and put the fat back on quicker for the following reasons:

1. A significant proportion of the weight that you lose in the early stages of dieting is water and lean muscle. Only a small amount of the lost weight is fat. This means your muscles get smaller and as a result you lose part of your body's natural ability to burn fat.

2. Artificial appetite suppression is not healthy. It is merely a temporary fix to fool your body into thinking you're full, and actually sets off mechanisms which can damage your long term health.

3. When you stop taking diet pills, your weight will quickly return to what it was except this time you have more fat tissue and less muscle tissue.

Although diet pills can help you lose weight in some cases, the negative effects on your body offset the temporary weight loss you might experience.

Also, each time you diet it becomes harder to lose the weight and you will gain more when you stop the dieting. You have certainly seen the results of people who diet on a regular basis... it's almost always the same.

You can bet that Anna Nicole Trimspa spokesperson will be back to her old weight again, if not heavier, at this time next year!

What about Ripped Fuel?

Ripped Fuel Side Effects

http://pharma-help.com/ripped-fuel/ripped-fuel-side-effects

As with other ECA stack based thermogenic weight-loss drugs, Ripped fuel side effects may have dangerous consequences. Beware of the following side effects:

nervousness
dizziness
tremors
rapid heart rate
headaches
jitters
palpitations
insomnia, and
increased blood pressure.

Should you experience any of these Ripped Fuel side effects, or should they become bothersome, you should cease taking the drug, and contact a doctor.

Additional Ripped Fuel side effects:

Some people with sensitive stomachs may have a problem with the cayenne in Ripped Fuel Extreme. Cayenne is a spice, and the reaction to spicy foods varies widely. Some individuals can eat three-alarm chili without any problem, while others find even mildly spicy food to be upsetting. If you experience a problem with cayenne, try taking Ripped Fuel Extreme with meals. None of the other ingredients in the formulation cause adverse effects in the dosages recommended.

I started taking ripped fuel about a month ago. Then last week, I had a very high fever for the first time I can remember. It lasted a full 3 days. I was in bed under abut 8 layers of covers shivering in 85-degree weather.

While I was suffering from a fever, I saw a news program about all-natural supplemets and how they can cause your organs to shut down resulting in high fevers which can lead to death.

Needless to say, it scared me enough to stop taking it.

The supplement issue is a mess these days. These companies come and go so fast and have a knack for changing the formulation just enough to stay ahead of any regulations. Combine that with no information as to what the long term effects are and it’s not a good situation.

That alone would scare me into not taking the stuff. The fact that it’s Natural means nothing and is the big seller to get people in.

Take Mikey for an example. He’s lost 25 pounds but is it due to the exercise and better eating or because of a magic pill. He’s who they sell to and too many people aren’t careful about what they are getting into.

Also, Anna Nichole is a pig and always will be.

Take Mikey for an example. He’s lost 25 pounds but is it due to the exercise and better eating or because of a magic pill. He’s who they sell to and too many people aren’t careful about what they are getting into.

Also, Anna Nichole is a pig and always will be.

Thanks for the info. As for the weight I lost. I really didn't start working out, until after I have been on TrimSpa for a week or so and lost 5 lbs. I haven't lost 25 lbs yet. I only lost 10 lbs. As for the amount of pills I take. It says on the bottle, that once you start losing weight....you should try cutting down from 2 pills per meal to 1 per meal.

Join tomorrow! No time like the present!

I fell off the wagon tonight. I had 3 mudslides, an egg roll and hot and sour soup for dinner and didn't go for my evening walk. This is the first friday I've missed in a month! :( :fatkid:

OMG, you actually ate?

:jk: :D

Valerie, like I said before. The problem is not that you are fat, or overweight. it's that you need to bulk up. Work out and build up the muscles and you will feel better about yourself.
