The Bills hand the head coaching reigns to Mike Mularkey this year. In two of the three years that Mularkey was offensive coordinator with the Steelers, his offense ranked in the league's top five. That's a good thing, considering Buffalo's offense ranks in the league's bottom three.

I think the offensive coaching staff was the biggest hindrance last season.

Given the options available for #4, I went with the winner, but I felt under a lot of constraint. I agree that the root of the problem was the offensive coaching staff. Look at what the new offensive coaching staff is about (based on comments made by Mularkey, McNally and others): 1 getting the offensive line to work better under the tutelage of Jim McNally. 2. Getting Drew to get rid of the ball faster. 3. Using the running backs more. 4. Freeing up Eric Moulds by getting defences to respect Evans and Reed. That pretty much covers the poll. The first three are directly related to coaching (the coaching that was deficient last season).
