Well it’s that magical time of year again - Fantasy Football time!!
This year we’ve got an exciting twist to introduce: the Bills Boards Combined Fantasy Football Leagues. Members of both the BFZ and BBI sites will compete head-to-head to be champions of their league. Prizes will be awarded in the form of Zonebucks/Buffalo Chips. Each league requires a registration fee (in Bucks or Chips) from each player. The registration fee and prize will be different for each league. The winner(s) get to decide which site(s) to take their prize from.
All leagues are live draft on the Yahoo site and have the following standard league configurations, unless otherwise noted:
Number of teams: 12
Roster: QB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, DEF, K, B(5)
Fractional points
Waiver period: 2 days
Trade ruling: 1/3 of owners object to overturn
League 1 - Standard Head-to-Head
Draft date/time: Tue Aug 31 9:30pm
Registration Fee: 200 Bucks/Chips
Playoff teams: 8, Wks 14-16
Format: Head-to-head
First place: 5,000 Bucks/Chips + registration fees
Second place: 2,500 Bucks/Chips
Third place: 1000 Bucks/Chips
Fourth place: 200 Bucks/Chips
League 2 - Standard Total Points
Draft date/time: Wed Sep 1 9:30pm
Registration Fee: 200 Bucks/Chips
Format: Total Points
First place: 5,000 Bucks/Chips + registration fees

League Rules/Terms:
1. Players can join as many leagues as they like provided they have the registration fee. If the leagues fill up there may be more created later.
2. Players promise to stay active in the league, except under extenuating circumstances (i.e. a serious illness, life changing event, converted to Amish and now electronics are Satan’s tools, etc.).
2. Players promise to not drop out of the league within two (2) weeks (firm) prior to the draft date.
3. Players promise to not attempt to cheat in any manner, including collusion in any way with another coach, attempting to control more than one team in the league, intentionally dropping players or agreeing to poor trades if my team becomes mathematically ineligible for the playoffs/league prizes.
4. Commissioner is an administrative function ONLY, judgment calls are limited to when there is no other option, which should be very rare.
To Sign-up: ** see below
1. Donate the registration fee to me (Halbert). Use a separate donation transaction for each league you wish to join (don’t combine them). Make sure you indicate which league you are donating the registration fee for in the donation description (ie. “League 2 - Standard Total Points”).
2. Donations can come from either site. If you’re short on Bucks/Chips and want to pay via a combination from both sites that’s ok, but please only do that if you have to (too confusing for a dope like me).
3. When I’ve received the total registration fee I’ll send you sign-up information.

** Note: Because the BFZ Zonebuck (ZB) feature currently isn’t available while they make updates to their site, for those who plan to use ZB’s please follow this procedure in the meantime:
1. Send me a PM (private message) stating your interest and intention of joining a league. Make sure you are specific which league you intend to join.
2. I will keep a list of people who have “registered” in this manner, in the order they came in. I will make this list public by posting it in this thread.
3. Make sure you register this way even if it looks like there are enough people already in the queue because I guarantee there will be people who don’t sign up after they said they would.
4. When the ZB feature is available again I will send out requests for the registration fees in the order of the registration queue and allow 24 hours for a response.
5. Once a fee is received, people have 24 hours to sign up before people lower in the queue are invited to continue.
6. I will limit BBI members to half the league spots until BFZ members have had their chance to sign up.
