Best NFL player to wear #12

    Let's get the debate started.

Does anyone dare say it's not Jimbo?

Everyone has to agree, at least on this board....JIM KELLY, the leader and orchestrator of the greatest offense in NFL history, the K-Gun

I have to go with Jim Kelly, but there are a bunch of great #12s, Namath, Bradshaw, Staubach, Griese, Brodie, etc.

I agree, it is a popular one, but we all have to pick Jimbo...just because.

Jim, although his stats are great, had a quality that statistics can't measure. People followed him whether they liked him or not. That's what makes sports so great. Statistics can't tell the story. I work with stats often in my field; maybe that's why I'm so impressed with atheletics. Guy's like Jim didn't have to have a big game to have a big impact. As the cliche' goes; "You can't measure a man's heart."

              Bradshaw.

C'mon the man has 4 rings.

That's a gutsy pick. I still will pick Kelly. If I weren't a Bills fan...I'd pick either Bradshaw or Joe Namath.

You would honestly take Kelly over Bradshaw if you had to choose between the two?

I'd put a young healthy Namath ahead of Kelly.

No way Namath was better than Kelly.

I never liked Joe Namath. I don't care how good of a quarterback he was. And, I totally forgot Terry Bradshaw even played football. He's been a commentator for so long, that's just how I see him now.

I'd have to agree with Wolffman, I'd say Bradshaw over Kelly, but not by much.
