The countdown to training camp is clicking faster for the Bills. The big interest with their fans is the offense.
Why not? Buffalo finished 30th in the 32-team NFL in overall offense last season. The Bills scored fewer points than any team in the AFC. Drew Bledsoe threw just 11 touchdown passes. In the last three seasons they were 2-25 when they trailed after three quarters.

Coach Mike Mularkey's creative new schemes, the league's determination to punish illegal contact by defensive backs (which should free up Lee Evans to be an impact rookie) and a running game (which should help protect Bledsoe) should make the attack respectable....more from Larry Felser (http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20040718/1051547.asp)

I thought they were going to pare down the playbook.

I hope Wire does win the job, he is exciting to watch sometimes and hits like a truck too. Or maybe James Stewart can attest to that and maybe Frank Wycheck too.
