Mike Reiss, of MetroWest Daily News, reports the New England Patriots have reached a contract agreement with first-round pick DL Vince Wilfork (Miami, Fla.) on a six-year deal that could be worth up to $18.05 million. The deal includes $5.825 million in bonus money, with $3 million in the form of a signing bonus and $2.5 million as part of an option bonus to be paid in 2005. He also is set to receive a $325,000 roster bonus for 2004. Wilfork's deal also has guaranteed base salaries in 2005 and 2006, giving him $6.575 million of guaranteed money.
So this makes Wilfork and Babin as the only 1st rounders signed so far hopefully we will at least get Evans done soon as he is expected to get immediate playing time.
