Takeo Spikes, London Fletcher, and Jeff Posey make up one of the strongest linebacking corps in the league and the good news is, it's only getting stronger. The three now have a year of playing together under their belts and they have learned each other's playing styles.

"We have a feel for each other now and how we all play the game," Posey said. "We can take more chances on the field because we know we'll be there to cover for each other."

All three men had great seasons in 2003. Fletcher led the team in tackles, while Spikes went to his first Pro Bowl. The chemistry they share is unmatched in the NFL.

"We're comfortable playing together," Spikes said. "Each one of us brings something different to the defense and I think it works as a unit."

The starting linebackers are also durable. They each started all 16 games last season and played well together despite Spikes and Posey being new additions to the team. Each man has a specific role and each has been successful
