    There's a sense of destiny in Mularkey's coaching ascent
    This is the first in a four-part series previewing Buffalo Bills training camp. Today's installment profiles new coach Mike Mularkey.

    Mike Mularkey was just halfway through his rookie season as an NFL assistant coach.
    It was 1994 and he was the lowest man on the staff of 10 aides for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As a "quality control" coach, he spent most of his 18-hour workday watching film and charting opponents' plays, not making decisions and coaching players.
