    So Ricky retired...big deal.

Replacing a 3.5 YPC back won't be hard to do.

Travis Henry finished only 16 yards behind RW with 61 fewer carries last year.

Yeah. But only a RB of the caliber of Ricky could even get that type of yardage behind their pathetic OL. The OL doesn't figure to get any better this year with 4 new starters and a 2nd year player.

Ricky blows. He was going to have an even worse year this year. I doubt he would have broken 1,000 yards. It was time.

To me, its a very big deal. They offense is crap w/o him, not to say, it was really going to be a whole lot w/ him. This is a huge void to fill, and the Phins will be hard pressed to find anyone who can fill in his shoes, or should I say Slippers??

They will unquestionably miss him. No other back in Miami can pound the ball like he could, and defenses can now take an entirely different approach. Bye-bye play action.
He also was a big-play threat (remember the snow game?) and an underrated receiver.
