Is A Preseason Game Worth Going To?

The wife just bought a couple tickets to the Bills/Titans preseason game. Great seats, but I have never been to a preseason game before. I have been to about 3 games per season for the past 10 years or so. I think that with the combination of tailgating and the game, there is no better way to spend a day in the world.

The game starts at 7pm, what time does the tailgating get started?

What is good and what is bad about attending a preseason game?

I was thinking that with the warm weather, the women should be scantily clad which is a big plus.
Men are clinging to football on a level we aren't even aware of. For centuries, we ruled everything, and now, in the last ten minutes, there are all these incursions by women. It's our Alamo. ~Tony Kornheiser

I have seen women walk right past a TV set with a football game on and - this always amazes me - not stop to watch, even if the TV is showing replays of what we call a "good hit," which is a tackle that causes at least one major internal organ to actually fly out of a player's body. ~Dave Barry

I hope she didn't pay face value for them!

If you are not a regular going to the games- it will be a lot of fun. I think this game is the designated "kids night"- like last year's Ram's game- kids get in really cheap.

If you have good seats- just seeing these guys up close is pretty cool- even the second stringers. But if you are going to see great football- then don't blink because it's 1 quarter and out. The rest of the time you'll see Travis and JP - hopefully extended time for McGahee- but overall the football itself will be what it will be- scrubs vs scrubs

Why on earth would you condone your wife spending money on a preseason game???

I find them to be extremely boring.

The tailgating can be just as good. Depends on your crew. The weather is beautiful usually, great summer nights. The women are hot. The game is dreadful. But the second half we usually aren't even watching anymore.

However, this year we have Evans, Losman and Willis. that should make it fun.
          Resign our own guys!

The wife paid like $25 for the pair, she was getting sick of me griping about no football and she knows that I don't like watching the preseason games on TV, so she thought I might like the in person version... Hey at least she is trying, huh?

I guess maybe I should start *****ing about not having a ex porn star live in housekeeper.....maybe she could solve that problem.

Good. I'll be at the Broncos game, so maybe I'll see you then.

I wouldn't complain if my wife bought me pre-season tix either!

Absolutely worth going to. Especially for the regulars...we have to get our tailgating technique together again.
