I think since we only have 1 fullback on the roster we should at least bring someone in, no??

He was complaining about how our our running game was not utilized correctly. That's a no-no in Td's books. Same case w/ Ruben even though he was willing to take a paycutt.

But his complaint was justified. It DIDN'T work. That's why Gilbride got canned.

It may have been justified . Notice when we let Gash and Ruben go we didn't have replacements then? They were the only two who complained publicly via the press and so did Winfield.

Nope, TD just doesn't want any locker room problems. No one is beyond the team. I'm not saying this is factual. Just an observation on my part.

Drew never uttered a word against Gilbride even though he was being blamed. TD has always wanted to run a tight ship.

Interesting point. I don't see this as the main reason Brown, Winfield, and Gash were let go. However, I can see where it may have played a lesser role in those decisions. Hmmmm.
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

I love Sam, but his release by the Saints may just be an indication that he's through.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Sam doesnt have much left in him other than locker room moral boost. That isnt enough to keep someone around these days.

Well Point Made .. I agree it played a part in the outcome as well just not sure it was the main factor... I beleive it just made the final desision a whole lot easier...

I do agree with some of you as well that we do need a solid Back in that position...
